Traveling with the Jujutsu Kaisen Lookup Figures – Gojo, Itadori, Fushiguro and Kugisaki in Yamanashi – Part 3

We’ve seen our Lookup figures walking and taking in the autumn views around two of the Five Lakes of Mt Fuji and nearby places. Then we saw them enjoying local cuisine for lunch. This time they’re heading for the park. But not just any old park.

A Fruit Park Worth Visiting

Here are some beautiful views of Yamanashi at the Fuefukigawa Fruit Park. This place is somewhat overlooked by tourists because the views of Mt Fuji aren’t that good – more than half of it is covered by a mountain range so only the tip of it shows. Yet even without a complete Mt Fuji in the background, the entire place is simply gorgeous year round, at any time of the day.

Park for the Entire Family

My little pics simply can’t do justice to this place – it’s quite massive, with all kinds of facilities and events. There’s a spacious plaza for outdoor events, a museum for children and adults alike to learn all about fruit, a hands-on kitchen for kids, greenhouses doubling as indoor parks for when the weather’s not too good, aqua athletics area, foot onsen, dog-only parks, barbeque area, a cafe and restaurant, corporate facilities, as well as a fruit farm.

It’s the perfect place for having a picnic, and you can do that quite often in Yamanashi as it’s the sunniest place in Japan! That means it has the most number of clear days in a year, weather-wise. Great place to live, methinks!

Our babies with Mt Fuji in the background

The red tin car I bought with me just for photographing these cuties looks perfect with the autumn scenery, don’t you think? I wasn’t the only one doing figure photography, either. There was a fellow with a bunch of Kimetsu no Yaiba Lookup figures, and a lady with a couple of Disney’s Duffy plushies.

Yamanashi-Related Anime Shows

Inside one of the domes, there were panel exhibits for the anime shows Yurukyan and Kamisama ni Natta Hi (“The Day I Became a God”).

A panel kindly letting visitors know the exact spots in the show

Rin of Yurukyan looks adorable on her little scooter! The cutout panels are life-size so it’s a fun photo spot for fans of the anime.

Campers for life!

I did watch the first season of the show – it’s like a how-to and travel guide for camping fans – but sadly, it didn’t inspire me to go out there and pitch a tent,  whether solo or as part of a group. While I did go camping as a Girl Guide when I was a kid, I hardly have any good memories of the experience. Honestly, I equate camping with creepy crawlies and uncomfortable sleeping bags and… dirty loos xD So hats off to Rin for enjoying the activity, which I know is good for the lungs and so on.

Under a Golden Tree

Majestic tree

There was a big, gorgeous ginkgo tree, shining golden yellow in the sun next to the outdoor theatre. You can see Mt Fuji’s tip in the background. It actually looks bigger in person, but since I was photographing with my old iPhone it’s barely noticeable in the picture.

Neat outdoor theatre in the background

Here are our cuties with the red truck. Aren’t they simply darling? I put Nobora and Yuji in the back of the truck as it reminds me of the time they fought Yuji’s brothers during the bridge arc. Megumi is on the ground as he had fallen asleep by then, exhausted from fighting using domain expansion for the first time. Gojo-sensei, of course, is atop the truck because where else could he be? This bloke can actually fly!

A different angle

There was so much to explore at the park, but we didn’t have enough time since there was still a mountain to climb and a trail to hike elsewhere. I wish I could’ve captured the sights and sounds of all the happy children playing here with their families. It’s a truly lovely place worth further exploration in the future. We’ll be back!

A Little Dream

The Fruit Park Fujiya Hotel located within the park is famous for its night views, which I hope to see someday, with better planning (and saving $$$ to stay at the Royal Suite Room!). I’m sure our Lookup figures will look amazing against the panoramic views of the place.

Glorious natural backdrop

That’s it for Part 3 of our Yamanashi trip with the JJK Lookup figures. As with Part 1 and Part 2, the case still stands: these Lookup figures are perfect as travel companions. They’re easy to carry and set up, and they look so adorable they’ll make any scene worth the bother.

Dreaming of taking these babies to more lovely places in the future

In Part 4, we’ll climb a mountain (well, a hill, to be more exact) for some more breathtaking views!

Purchasing the Jujutsu Kaisen Lookup Figures

Most manga/anime specialty stores carry these figures, including pre-owned (but unopened) ones at very reasonable prices. As of this writing, I’ve seen pre-owned products at nearly half the price of new ones.
