Awww, aren’t these sleepy figures cute? I wrote previously about the very first set of the Jujutsu Kaisen Onemutan series. Now there’s a second, third and fourth set, yey! In this blog post let’s take a look at sets 2 and 3.
Jujutsu Kaisen Onemutan 2
This set features the Tokyo High second-year students Toge Inumaki, Maki Zen’in and Panda, along with Kento Nanami and Mahito.
Nanami and Mahito have this thing against each other: first we see them battle it out at Junpei Yoshida’s high school in the anime, while in the Shibuya arc of the manga we see them go at it once more. It does make sense that they’re brought out at the same time in this series.
For the background I used a folding cardboard illustration from the Daiso dollar store.
Panda sits on a layer of mini tatami (grass mats) from the Seria dollar store. These miniature mats are super cute and really do complement the Japanese room!
Mahito has such a voluminous amount of gorgeous blue hair! Even from above you can see just how much hair he’s been given; he has the biggest head in the group.

Jujutsu Kaisen Onemutan 3
For this set, we have a repeat: Satoru Gojo and Yuji Itadori in poses different from the original set, joined by two Kyoto students: Aoi Todo and Mai Zen’in. Then there’s Suguru Geto (Kenjaku, to be more precise).
I was rather disappointed they decided to make Itadori and Gojo twice instead of adding more Kyoto students such as Kasumi Miwa, Momo Nishimiya and Ultimate Mechamaru.
But it makes sense if we think of the Geto-Gojo pairing. Their poses here are perfect together: Gojo raising his eye mask to look at his best friend, who winks at him as if they were sharing a little secret. Also, it’s always nice to see our favourite teacher showing us his baby blues (just one in this pose). Itadori looks adorable, drooling in his sleep.
From above, we can see Mai and Todo lying on their backs while the other three are on their bellies. Mai’s emblem is her revolver, while Todo’s simply says ‘Takada’ in kanji characters. Gojo’s emblem is a hand with two fingers twisted together, his hand sign for the sorcery technique ‘Purple’. Geto’s is the kanji character 仏 (read as ‘hotoke,’ meaning Buddha, because he’s dressed as a Buddhist priest). Yuji’s is simply the Tokyo High emblem.
Mai and Todo look adorable together. These figures remind me of one of the funniest ‘Jujusanpo’ anime extra, that episode where Todo enthuses Mai to attend a meet-and-greet (aka ‘shake hands with your idol’) event featuring Takada-chan. Mai reluctantly goes, but in the end it turns out she actually enjoyed the encounter, even if she was loathe to admit it. Takada-chan was super charming and very pretty, of course! I loved everything about that short anime skit, from the part where Mai stands above the crowd and one of the guys notices her and says a beautiful girl was (literally and figuratively) looking down on them as if they were pieces of shit, to the final dialogue where she goes, “Not bad at all!” regarding Takada-chan, but only in her mind xD
A part of me wonders if Onemutan characters are meant to be waking up or falling (or trying to fall) asleep.
Dunno which so I also photographed a night version of the scene, featuring the moon, an eerie lamp and some lovely fireflies. This background is on the reverse side of the panel. Convenient, eh?

Hope you enjoyed this look at Jujutsu Kaisen Onemutan 2 and 3. For figures this small, they’re not badly made at all. They make an adorable display all lined up together. Recommended for anyone into JJK and miniature chibi figures.
Next up, Jujutsu Kaisen Onemutan fourth installment, or Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Onemutan, featuring characters from the movie!
